The Novice Workshop
$249 per person · 6–20 guests · approx. 1.5 hours
The perfect format for larger groups, tighter schedules, or teams where not everyone is the "hands-on" type. Florian opens with a brief education on the wood — where it came from, how it was milled, what makes California Black Walnut so rare and sought-after. He then demonstrates the creation of a board from start to finish.
From there, each guest selects their own pre-shaped board — each one unique in grain pattern and character — and finishes it themselves: sanding, branding with the Made in Napa mark, and hand-applying oil until the wood comes alive under their hands.
They leave with a board they finished. They leave knowing they made something together.

The Master Workshop
$349 per person · 4–20 guests · approx. 2.5 hours
For groups where the goal is genuine connection — not just a shared experience, but real conversation, real collaboration, real time together away from screens and agendas.
The Master Workshop includes everything from The Novice, but goes deeper: more hands-on participation in the actual creation process, larger boards with more complex finishing, and significantly more one-on-one time with Florian. Groups are smaller by nature, which means the experience is more intimate and the memories are more lasting.
This workshop also includes a private tour of Florian's art gallery next door — a collection that quietly reflects twenty-five years of working with rare California wood at the highest level.
