THE CRAFT
Florian Roeper founded Studio Roeper in 2003 with a vision to bridge artistic integrity with timeless, functional design. Twenty-three years later, that philosophy remains unchanged. Each table is handcrafted in Napa Valley from sustainably-sourced California Black Walnut—a material Roeper has come to know intimately through decades of sourcing, milling, and seasoning fallen trees from throughout Northern California.
THE PROCESS
Every piece begins with selection. Roeper presents clients with some of the world's most unique and rare California Black Walnut slabs, discussing grain patterns, natural features, and finish. The slab is paired with one of Roeper's signature bases in wood, bronze, or steel, designed to complement the walnut's natural beauty. Every surface is milled, joined, and finished by hand in Roeper's state-of-the-art woodshop using traditional techniques refined over two decades.
THE LEGACY
This approach has resonated with clients ranging from private collectors to Dior, Louis Vuitton, Four Seasons Hotels, and collaborations with iconic designers such as Peter Marino. Whether creating a dining table for a family or a console for a luxury boutique, Roeper's standard remains the same: uncompromising quality, honest materials, and furniture built for a lifetime.
"Living with exceptional pieces enhances our quality of life."
