The centerpiece of this design is the incredible slab itself—Roeper believes he is “merely finishing the work that nature has begun”. This is not commercially available lumber; it is rare, salvaged Claro Walnut distinguished by magnificent character and unique figuring. Since 2010, Florian has personally salvaged, milled, and seasoned these fallen trees from local backyards and farms, putting sustainability directly into action to create a material that is truly one-of-a-kind.

Those who appreciate fine woodworking will recognize the superior craftsmanship and artistry on display. Each surface is finished by hand with a premium oil blend, achieving a tactile, impossibly satin-smooth richness that honors the natural grain.

Drawing from our private—and one of the largest—collections of Claro Walnut slabs in the country, we offer a personal selection process. Clients are invited to specify their dimensions and hand-pick the perfect slab to match their vision.
